In the 21st minute of the match 김 흥 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 김 연 skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Daejeon United getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Enol Diez hit a great ball. Daejeon United were furious when Bonggo Munggaran was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 김 흥 shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 30 minutes into the game, 김 준 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. 김 연 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 정 점 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Lukas Maria Casutt made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 김 왕 in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukas Maria Casutt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Gary Anderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 김 연 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Septian Karaeng, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Daejeon United's goal looked a bit too open when 김 담 came free, but 김 연 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half 호랑이 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesse Barrientos during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 50th match minute, Daejeon United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesse Barrientos to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes 호랑이 got a freekick which was hit by Elias Meira. 김 준 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but 김 연 made a huge save. Gary Anderson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 김 연 came out and tried to block the shot, but Gary Anderson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 60th minute. 김 연 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 준 in the 65th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, 호랑이 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Septian Karaeng to maneuver through the defense. In the 68thth minute of the game 김 왕 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 호랑이's Lukas Maria Casutt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 정 점 hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Daejeon United's 김 연 got control of the ball when Gary Anderson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 김 연 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gary Anderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Jesse Barrientos notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of 호랑이's Lukas Maria Casutt. Lukas Maria Casutt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 김 왕 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukas Maria Casutt having to interfere. 김 연 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Septian Karaeng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The 호랑이 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Daejeon United from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
