To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Redcar's 최 돈 got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Redcar's Feri Soputan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 이 온 in the 10th minute of play. Redcar's 최 돈 got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 이 온 took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feri Soputan. Feri Soputan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 38 played minutes Redcar got a freekick which was hit by Mark van Bommel. In the 42nd match minute, Redcar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 최 돈 to maneuver through the defense. 김 노 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Feri Soputan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Redcar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. But to his dismay, 최 돈 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 83 minutes, 최 돈 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redcar's supporters crossed their fingers, but 최 돈 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 최 돈 scored 2-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 김 유, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 노 in the 92nd minute of play forced Redcar's goalkeeper Feri Soputan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute 최 돈 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 김 유 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
