If Burns Durbin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tatong's zone, Arnold Argoud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cole Alchin came out of the goal and Arnold Argoud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cole Alchin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Argoud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cole Alchin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Argoud, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jenkins Missen, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Artie Maddern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Alex Hauschildt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnold Argoud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Tatong's Zackery Digiuseppe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barth Bundy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 61 minutes, Boyd Sedgman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tatong and the Dulbydilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tatong getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Boyd Sedgman hit a great ball. If Artie Maddern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tatong's Ernest Obrien got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Artie Maddern ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cole Alchin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 88 minutes into the match, Tatong's goalkeeper Cole Alchin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artie Maddern. Cole Alchin made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Artie Maddern sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute, Boyd Sedgman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tatong's goalkeeper Cole Alchin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
