Duncan Oconnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Kerville in the 10th minute of the match. Phil Aroege kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Peter Kerville came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Spargoville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Kerville couldn't finish the play. When Spargoville's Peter Kerville in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Spargoville were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Spargoville's Peter Kerville ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Duncan Oconnell. Duncan Oconnell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Peter Kerville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 76thth minute of the game Peter Kerville who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Meander F.C.'s Duncan Oconnell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blake Durbin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Duncan Oconnell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Duncan Oconnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Kerville, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Spargoville's Peter Kerville got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duncan Oconnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Kerville, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 95 minutes, Peter Kerville managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spargoville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Kerville was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Spargoville left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Meander F.C..
