Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Irving Fitton started the match with the kick off. Duke Thorne charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duke Thorne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Byanbunnoo got a freekick which was hit by Duke Thorne. Bartholemew Finden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Carlos Maslin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Maslin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hank Best in the 7th minute of play. Byanbunnoo's Justin Woods played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irving Fitton in the 12th minute of play. Brannan Benson had several of the Creighton's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Carlos Maslin as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Andre Tevelien fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Byanbunnoo's protests and gave Andre Tevelien a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Andre Tevelien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Irving Fitton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justin Woods was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Justin Woods showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irving Fitton, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brannan Benson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jordon Schutt's late challenge caught a Byanbunnoo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordon Schutt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Jordon Schutt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irving Fitton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justin Woods read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hank Best in the 59th minute of play forced Creighton's goalkeeper Carlos Maslin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justin Woods showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irving Fitton in the 62nd minute of the match. Carlos Maslin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brannan Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Brannan Benson came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Byanbunnoo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brannan Benson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Creighton's Jarrod Ross got a free kick in the 68th minute. Irwin Swan, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Hank Best was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Byanbunnoo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Creighton the free kick. In the 71st minute, Hank Best hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Maslin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartholemew Finden in the 82nd minute of play. Irving Fitton struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Justin Woods didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creighton. Irving Fitton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Creighton's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Tevelien came free, but Carlos Maslin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Andre Tevelien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Maslin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolph Leach took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justin Woods. Justin Woods dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Creighton's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
