Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aaron Fasey made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Aaron Fasey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lebrina's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Fasey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Britton Hilton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the match, Lebrina's Neale Glover sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Britton Hilton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 7 minutes, Rufus Sewell made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lebrina's Birrell Brennand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aaron Fasey received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Britton Hilton came out and tried to block the shot, but Aaron Fasey slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 11th minute. When Derriwong's Matthew Atkin in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lebrina's goalie prevented a goal. Matthew Atkin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birrell Brennand having to make a save. In the 17th minute Rufus Sewell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birrell Brennand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rufus Sewell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthew Atkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birrell Brennand having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Corbett Andrews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rick Block was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rufus Sewell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Derriwong's zone, Neale Glover stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Britton Hilton came out of the goal and Neale Glover tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aaron Fasey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Britton Hilton having to make a save. 35 minutes into the game, Nelson Baxter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Derriwong's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lebrina the free kick. Nelson Baxter kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Nelson Whelpton's late challenge caught a Derriwong's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelson Whelpton helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lebrina's Nelson Whelpton got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute of the match Nick Gledden shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Birrell Brennand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rufus Sewell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Lebrina's Aaron Fasey in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Derriwong's goalie prevented a goal. Derriwong's Britton Hilton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Fasey in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Aaron Fasey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Britton Hilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Matthew Atkin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derriwong's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthew Atkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brye Dillon hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Derriwong's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nick Gledden in the 69th minute. Derriwong's Matthew Atkin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Birrell Brennand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Britton Hilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Fasey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Britton Hilton came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lebrina's Neale Glover. But to his dismay, Neale Glover quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Aaron Fasey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Derriwong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corbett Andrews to maneuver through the defense. Neale Glover might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Britton Hilton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Neale Glover ran back to his position shaking his head. Lebrina were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Derriwong for a fine match.
