Spectators: 7296 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Irving Telfer got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jemmett Shirdon in the 3rd minute of play forced Kojonup's goalkeeper Carlisle Nurthen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irving Telfer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Carlisle Nurthen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Kojonup's Howard Breasley seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Howard Breasley the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kojonup protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Howard Breasley had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Dallachy's Irving Telfer got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Carlisle Nurthen. Irving Telfer in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlisle Nurthen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roy Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Callaghan in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Irving Telfer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlisle Nurthen. Kojonup's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irving Telfer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 26 minutes into the game, Neil Wal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kojonup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dallachy the free kick. Jemmett Shirdon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudy Paddle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlisle Nurthen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Irving Telfers short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Carlisle Nurthen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Kojonup's Carlisle Nurthen got control of the ball when Irving Telfer tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Rudy Paddle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlisle Nurthen. Rudy Paddle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Carlisle Nurthen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Irving Telfer in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Albert Callaghan made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irving Telfer in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlisle Nurthen saved Kojonup from getting behind. Rudy Paddle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlisle Nurthen having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Rudy Paddle made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kojonup's Carlisle Nurthen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute, Alfred Peplow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlisle Nurthen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Irving Telfer's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Kojonup got a freekick which was hit by Evan Beverley. Carlisle Nurthen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irving Telfer in the 66th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes, Dallachy's Carl Thomas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlisle Nurthen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dallachy reached it. After 70 played minutes Kojonup got a freekick which was hit by Archie Colman. If Jemmett Shirdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Carl Thomas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dallachy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kojonup the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Carl Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Dallachy booed when Kojonup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ray Alwege didn't get a good kick on the ball.
