Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jess Dearn got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Nichol Heath managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daveyston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nichol Heath was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jess Dearn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart Dearn having to interfere. Bart Dearn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jess Dearn, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Jess Dearn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nichol Heath blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bart Dearn having to make a save. After 19 played minutes Daveyston got a freekick which was hit by Payne Fieldhouse. After 20 played minutes Daveyston got a freekick which was hit by Nichol Heath. Bart Dearn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jess Dearn in the 22nd minute of play. Nichol Heath in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bart Dearn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nichol Heath came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bart Dearn could save by the left post. Taylors Legends's Bart Dearn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Taylors Legends from getting a goal against them. Bernard Leydin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Jess Dearn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daveyston's supporters rose to their feet, but Jess Dearn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bart Dearn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Payne Fieldhouse's late challenge caught a Taylors Legends's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Payne Fieldhouse helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Daveyston's Jess Dearn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bart Dearn. Bart Dearn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. If Nichol Heath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Taylors Legends's Bart Dearn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichol Heath in the 52nd minute of play. Bart Dearn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jess Dearn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jess Dearn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taylors Legends's Bart Dearn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichol Heath in the 56th minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Nichol Heath who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taylors Legends's Bart Dearn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Jess Dearn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bart Dearn. Taylors Legends's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jess Dearn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Taylors Legends's Bart Dearn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichol Heath in the 67th minute of play. Bart Dearn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jess Dearn in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichol Heath in the 76th minute of play forced Taylors Legends's goalkeeper Bart Dearn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bart Dearn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Christini, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Jess Dearn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taylors Legends's Bart Dearn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Jess Dearn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Daveyston fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nichol Heath in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bart Dearn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Christini in the 84th minute of play forced Taylors Legends's goalkeeper Bart Dearn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jess Dearn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bart Dearn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jess Dearn in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nichol Heath in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bart Dearn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taylors Legends's goalkeeper Bart Dearn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daveyston walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
