A very good chance. In the 13th match minute, Hahndorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaffery Wal to maneuver through the defense. Brooker Mudie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Brandes Stevens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brandes Stevens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brooker Mudie went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Vasey's Brandes Stevens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duncan Pears in the 32nd minute of play. If Artie Wood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Vasey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Kuskop to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Maddern, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Brooker Mudie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandes Stevens having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Brooker Mudie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Brandes Stevens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Earl Heathwood made a kick off. Brandes Stevens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brooker Mudie showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 53 minute of play. Hahndorf's Gregg Norton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Earl Heathwood in the 57th minute of play. Duncan Pears sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Hahndorf's Brandes Stevens threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brooker Mudie, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Brooker Mudie came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Hahndorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brooker Mudie couldn't finish the play. Duncan Pears fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandes Stevens having to interfere. After 86 minutes Vasey's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benjamin Maddern who took care of the corner kick. Richard Barker made a great header on Hahndorf's corner, it was just that Vasey's Brandes Stevens managed to reach the ball for a save. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Hahndorf's Brooker Mudie in the 89th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Brandes Stevens was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vasey through an amazing save. Gregg Norton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Earl Heathwood in the 90th minute of play. Hahndorf's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
