Kale Phasey charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Baxter Christian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarvis Fitzpatrick was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Ailsa's zone, Burtt Behla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarvis Fitzpatrick came out of the goal and Burtt Behla tried to chip the ball over his head. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zackery Munday made a kick off. Zackery Munday scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jess Annis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baxter Christian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarvis Fitzpatrick having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Burtt Behla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jarvis Fitzpatrick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarvis Fitzpatrick came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Heidelberg's Burtt Behla. But to his dismay, Burtt Behla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Baxter Christian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Tommy Fortington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brandes Ward was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 79 minutes, Tony Hines mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.Ailsa and the Heidelberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Tony Hines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brandes Ward, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Burtt Behla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Jarvis Fitzpatrick skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After recieving a nice pass, Heidelberg's Brandes Ward tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Heidelberg played a much better game than F.C.Ailsa and deserved their victory. The F.C.Ailsa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
