Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tommy Devine got the match started through his kick off. Rudy Oneill took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luck Wenham. Luck Wenham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Rudy Oneill came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Excelsior FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Oneill couldn't finish the play. 3-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Rudy Oneill elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Excelsior FC booed when Kennyville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Starling didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Excelsior FC's Rudy Oneill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luck Wenham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rudy Oneill in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luck Wenham, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 30 minutes into the match, Kennyville's goalkeeper Luck Wenham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudy Oneill. Rolando Starling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Reginald Mills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 minutes, Andy Crawford mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Excelsior FC and the Kennyville players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Excelsior FC's Andy Crawford got a free kick in the 36th minute. The supporters of Excelsior FC booed when Kennyville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neville Parryman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kennyville's Luck Wenham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Kennyville from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Excelsior FC's Rudy Oneill slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luck Wenham. That made the score 4-0 after 47 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 53 played minutes Kennyville got a freekick which was hit by Neville Parryman. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudy Oneill in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luck Wenham saved Kennyville from getting behind. Luck Wenham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grant Heberle in the 56th minute of the match. Rudy Oneill took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luck Wenham. Luck Wenham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 65th minute, Rudy Oneill left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Excelsior FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. During the 74th minute of the match Rolando Starling completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rolando Starling a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Rolando Starling kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Kennyville's Luck Wenham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Pearce in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Oneill in the 89th minute of play forced Kennyville's goalkeeper Luck Wenham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Max Pearce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Excelsior FC's Rudy Oneill got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Tommy Devine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kennyville's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Devine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reginald Mills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Max Pearce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Luck Wenham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Excelsior FC had played much better football throughout.
