Girrawheen SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pea Heads the free kick. Ian Kayrooz kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Kane Shipp in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bryson Terris, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 12 minutes into the match, Kane Shipp notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Pea Heads's Bryson Terris. Bryson Terris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute, Jess Burmeister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pea Heads's zone, Kane Shipp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryson Terris came out of the goal and Kane Shipp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Art Fynn hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Sam Freeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gregg Grieve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bryson Terris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kane Shipp in the 26th minute. Pea Heads's Bryson Terris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Pea Heads from getting a goal against them. Otto Stanton struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Bryson Terris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Girrawheen SC. Bevis Pearman kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When Kane Shipp came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Girrawheen SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kane Shipp couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Art Fynn notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pea Heads's Bryson Terris. Bryson Terris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Art Fynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bryson Terris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Randle Pinkerton kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Randle Pinkerton hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Bryson Terris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Art Fynn in the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Zbigniew Owsiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bryson Terris was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Girrawheen SC fully deserved thier win.
