Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes of play, Westville's Alberto Haberle made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. James Kerville was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute, Jaffery Smoothy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westville fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 14th minute of the match, Jaffery Smoothy got a very nice opportunity to score, but James Kerville was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Roy Trenoweth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parker Triplett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Norton in the 21st minute of play. If Alberto Haberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Roy Trenoweth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tyabb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roy Trenoweth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexander Norton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Parker Triplett having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Alexander Norton notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Westville's Parker Triplett. Parker Triplett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberto Haberle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Alberto Haberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, James Kerville successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Roy Trenoweth came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tyabb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Trenoweth couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Haberle to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Damon Allan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes Westville got a freekick which was hit by Caine Quinn. Alberto Haberle took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised James Kerville. James Kerville dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Alexander Norton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Westville's goalkeeper Parker Triplett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberto Haberle struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. James Kerville didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westville. James Kerville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Haberle in the 74th minute of play. Brendon Coote kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jaffery Smoothy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jaffery Smoothy came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Westville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaffery Smoothy couldn't finish the play. James Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Haberle, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Tyabb's James Kerville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Haberle in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play, Westville's Alberto Haberle made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. James Kerville was left in no man's land by his defense there! Parker Triplett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Norton in the 96th minute of play. Tyabb's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
