Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rufus Todman got the match started through his kick off. Randall Glover showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dakota Copelin in the 5th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Woomera's Dakota Copelin in the 7th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Randall Glover was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Kelso through an amazing save. After 7 minutes, Rich Jury mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kelso and the Woomera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rich Jury hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Dean Haydock took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Randall Glover. Kelso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dakota Copelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Brock Cave hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rufus Todman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Woomera's goal looked a bit too open when Rufus Todman came free, but Alan Leach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Kelso's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ace Cubit fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Ace Cubit came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Woomera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ace Cubit couldn't finish the play. After 43 played minutes Kelso got a freekick which was hit by Rich Jury. Alan Leach didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rufus Todman went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Dakota Copelin made the kick off in the second half. Rufus Todman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Woomera got a freekick which was hit by Barnard Kiel. Randall Glover took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dakota Copelin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evan Mcjunkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alan Leach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rufus Todman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Leach having to interfere. Evan Mcjunkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Woomera's Lewis Breasley got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 95thth minute of the game Rufus Todman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woomera's Alan Leach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rufus Todman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Alan Leach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brock Cave during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
