Barnard Connolly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nero Mcquinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nero Mcquinn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnard Connolly having to interfere. Demise FC's Barnard Connolly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nero Mcquinn in the 6th minute of play. After 7 played minutes Demise FC got a freekick which was hit by Darell Kaine. If Logan Burtt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kurdnatta's Logan Burtt in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Demise FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute Nero Mcquinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnard Connolly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Logan Burtt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kurdnatta booed when Demise FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carleton Minter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Bo Hardiman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barnard Connolly skillfully saved the ball. In the 40th minute, Herbert Domenichetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artie Tebbit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Carleton Minter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Demise FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kurdnatta the free kick. Carleton Minter kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Kurdnatta's Kirby Cubit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Kurdnatta from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Rudy Mcinnes made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Demise FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Darell Kaine hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nero Mcquinn in the 53rd minute of play forced Demise FC's goalkeeper Barnard Connolly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nero Mcquinn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnard Connolly having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kurdnatta's Herbert Domenichetti got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Demise FC's Rudy Mcinnes managed to work through Kurdnatta's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rudy Mcinnes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 67th minute, Nero Mcquinn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Kurdnatta's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Mcinnes came free, but Kirby Cubit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudy Mcinnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Cubit having to interfere. Kirby Cubit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Mcinnes in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Logan Burtt notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Demise FC's Barnard Connolly. Barnard Connolly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Demise FC's Barnard Connolly got control of the ball when Logan Burtt tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Artie Tebbit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Demise FC's Artie Tebbit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kirby Cubit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Demise FC's Barnard Connolly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Logan Burtt in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Demise FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carleton Minter to maneuver through the defense. Bo Hardiman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
