Dane Sparrow hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Niguel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Adamson was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Casper Adamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Niguel, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Raimundo Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Casper Adamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Jacobs Prince managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leeton United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobs Prince was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Adamson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Leeton United FC booed when Sidney Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corbett Palmington didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Navarro Triplett fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sidney Stars's protests and gave Navarro Triplett a yellow card for diving instead. Navarro Triplett kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Max Goring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Casper Adamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Niguel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiko Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dane Sparrow in the 43rd minute of the match. Jacobs Prince received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Casper Adamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casper Adamson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raimundo Niguel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Niguel to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sidney Stars's zone, Raimundo Niguel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Adamson came out of the goal and Raimundo Niguel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney Stars were furious when Charles Macinnes was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 54 minutes into the game, one of Sidney Stars:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Sidney Stars booed when Leeton United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Hess didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Adamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Goring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, Sidney Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamese Shipp to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Jacobs Prince got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sidney Stars defense, Raimundo Niguel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Adamson. The Sidney Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Adamson should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Niguel in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Adamson saved Sidney Stars from getting behind. After 76 played minutes Sidney Stars got a freekick which was hit by Dane Sparrow. In the 79th minute Raimundo Niguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Adamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raimundo Niguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84thth minute of the game Raimundo Niguel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sidney Stars's Casper Adamson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Leeton United FC's Raimundo Niguel in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sidney Stars's goalie prevented a goal. Raimundo Niguel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Adamson having to interfere. Leeton United FC's Raimundo Niguel got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leeton United FC fully deserved thier win.
