Spectators: 7549 (Terracing: 5663, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) After a defensive mix-up in A Team's zone, Tobie Claringbold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brye Ridding came out of the goal and Tobie Claringbold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norm Markcrow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Isaac Reichelt came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sydney FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Reichelt couldn't finish the play. After having played for 21 minutes, Bjorn Shorten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bjorn Shorten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 minutes of play, A Team's Bjorn Shorten made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brand Stafford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bjorn Shorten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Brand Stafford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norm Markcrow in the 29th minute of play forced Sydney FC's goalkeeper Brand Stafford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brand Stafford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norm Markcrow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brand Stafford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norm Markcrow in the 43rd minute of the match. Brye Ridding made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobie Claringbold in the 44th minute. Cod Busst kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Aden Weeks sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and A Team's Brye Ridding didn't even have to move. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Reichelt to make the kick off. After recieving a nice pass, A Team's Byron Meyers tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlton Mcmanamny during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Carlton Mcmanamny was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. In the 58th minute, one of Sydney FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sydney FC. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for A Team. Byron Meyers stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Brand Stafford. 0-2. In the 66th minute, A Team's Bjorn Shorten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brand Stafford. Brand Stafford yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Brand Stafford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjorn Shorten in the 71st minute of play. Brand Stafford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bjorn Shorten in the 76th minute of the match. When Sydney FC's Tobie Claringbold in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A Team's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd match minute, Sydney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brant Finden to maneuver through the defense. Brand Stafford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norm Markcrow in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
