Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isaac Reichelt got the match started through his kick off. A hard shot 5 in the game by Ned Oreilly from a close distance when the talented Brand Stafford managed to make a qualified save. Sydney FC's players were relieved. 1-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Ned Oreilly elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Isaac Reichelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ned Oreilly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sydney FC's Brand Stafford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryanne Behla in the 17th minute of play. Brand Stafford made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ned Oreilly sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Isaac Reichelt put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Earle Letsch. Bunbartha's Ned Oreilly got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Bunbartha got a freekick which was hit by Jonty Petty. Brant Finden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Earle Letsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bunbartha's Isaac Malacarne got a free kick in the 38th minute. Earle Letsch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobie Claringbold, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Ned Oreilly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bunbartha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ned Oreilly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bryanne Behla took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brand Stafford. Brand Stafford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bryanne Behla to make the kick off. If Bryanne Behla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Isaac Malacarne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bunbartha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sydney FC the free kick. In the 55th minute, Isaac Malacarne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, Sydney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlton Mcmanamny to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes Sydney FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlton Mcmanamny. After 61 played minutes Bunbartha got a freekick which was hit by Larkin Bielski. With a little luck, Bunbartha's Earle Letsch got control of the ball when Tobie Claringbold tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaac Reichelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Earle Letsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Bunbartha got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Quelch. In the 74th match minute, Bunbartha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Malacarne to maneuver through the defense. Bryanne Behla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brand Stafford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryanne Behla, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Brand Stafford came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bunbartha's Bryanne Behla. But to his dismay, Bryanne Behla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
