Fabian Royans made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Cullen Fitzsimmons sent off a good shot on target. Andy Mclatchey charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andy Mclatchey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nelshiby booed when Youanmite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Mclatchey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Nelshiby's Bran Wharton broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Long Voller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baxter Cochrane in the 11th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfred Lambourne during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Nelshiby booed when Youanmite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Lambourne didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes, Nelshiby's Bran Wharton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabian Royans came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nelshiby reached it. If Elliot Jackson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Long Voller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryden Spinder in the 18th minute of the match. Lowrey Boston's late challenge caught a Youanmite's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lowrey Boston helped the player get up and apologised. Lowrey Boston hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Nelshiby's Long Voller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baxter Cochrane in the 30th minute of play. Fabian Royans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Jackson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Nelshiby's Elliot Jackson got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cullen Fitzsimmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fabian Royans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauder Christian hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Fabian Royans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Jackson in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nelshiby's goalkeeper Long Voller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Baxter Cochrane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baxter Cochrane to strike the kick off in the second half. Elliot Jackson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fabian Royans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliot Jackson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Royans having to interfere. Elliot Jackson struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Fabian Royans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nelshiby. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Cullen Fitzsimmons managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nelshiby's supporters rose to their feet, but Cullen Fitzsimmons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Royans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Nelshiby's Long Voller got control of the ball when Bryden Spinder tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Baxter Cochrane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Elliot Jackson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Bryden Spinder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Youanmite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryden Spinder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Baxter Cochrane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Youanmite's Gregg Boneheyo got a free kick in the 89th minute. There was no doubt that Nelshiby were the better team. Nelshiby's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
