He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Anders in the 43rd minute of play forced Merlion Patriots FC's goalkeeper Bray Malacarne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bullarto booed when Merlion Patriots FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathan Marcola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bray Malacarne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larry Anders in the 45th minute of the match.

There was no doubt that Bullarto were the better team. Bullarto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
