Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brayden Fessey started the match with the kick off. Jenkins Mccarthy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brayden Fessey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ryan Mcmahon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jenkins Mccarthy was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 5 minutes into the match, Brayden Fessey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jenkins Mccarthy. Binnu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brayden Fessey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute, Ryan Mcmahon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goolwa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jenkins Mccarthy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raleigh Solomon, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 24th minute Brayden Fessey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jenkins Mccarthy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Binnu getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Connor Schonke hit a great ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Binnu's goalkeeper Jenkins Mccarthy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Brayden Fessey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jenkins Mccarthy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes Binnu got a freekick which was hit by Curtis Waller. In the 40th minute of the match Larkin Andrews shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jenkins Mccarthy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brayden Fessey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jenkins Mccarthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlisle Howarth made a kick off. Jenkins Mccarthy was a little too slow when Ryan Mcmahon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Binnu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Brayden Fessey scored to the left of an out of position Jenkins Mccarthy, making the score, 0-4. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Brayden Fessey took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Jenkins Mccarthy to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brayden Fessey in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jenkins Mccarthy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brayden Fessey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jenkins Mccarthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryan Mcmahon kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 79thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Binnu's keeper Jenkins Mccarthy was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 80 minutes into the game, Binnu's Carlisle Howarth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berke Beckwith made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Brayden Fessey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jenkins Mccarthy having to make a save. Brayden Fesseys short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Jenkins Mccarthy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 92nd minute Brayden Fessey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jenkins Mccarthy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brayden Fessey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jenkins Mccarthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Goolwa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Binnu throughout the match.
