Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Duke Quinn made the kick off which started today's match. Nicholas Gwin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Howard Butterworth went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Howard Butterworth in the 12th minute of play forced Teddywaddi's goalkeeper Nicholas Gwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rob Watman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Howard Lawson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Phil Curtis, passed just outside the right post. Duke Quinn struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Phil Curtis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teddywaddi. Howard Lawson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Phil Curtis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tommy Brennan hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Howard Butterworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Gwin having to interfere. Malcolm Markou hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Norm Jobson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicholas Gwin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Howard Lawson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Howard Lawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Duke Quinn fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Phil Curtis, passed just outside the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Howard Butterworth was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Boyd Smalley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teddywaddi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barringna the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Teddywaddi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Duke Quinn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phil Curtis having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, Teddywaddi's goalkeeper Nicholas Gwin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rob Watman. Phil Curtis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duke Quinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phil Curtis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duke Quinn in the 68th minute of the match. Barringna:s Phil Curtis showed great skill when he stopped Nathaniel Rishton:s penalty. Duke Quinn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duke Quinn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phil Curtis having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, Teddywaddi's Duke Quinn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phil Curtis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Phil Curtis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Howard Lawson in the 91st minute of play. Howard Lawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Curtis having to interfere. After some careless play in the Barringna defense, Howard Lawson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phil Curtis. The Barringna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phil Curtis should have stopped the shot. After having played for 100 minutes, Duke Quinn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teddywaddi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duke Quinn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barringna's Phil Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Howard Lawson in the 101st minute of play. There was no doubt that Teddywaddi were the better team. Teddywaddi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
