Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bath Devine started the match with the kick off. When Wandoan's Darell Cookesley in the 2nd minute got a chance for a shot 2nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bringo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 4th minute of the match, Bath Devine tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Grant Gissane saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Barney Pustak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darell Cookesley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berny Gledden charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berny Gledden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bringo's Berny Gledden got a free kick in the 17th minute. Dwight Wilson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mack Dollimore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hans Kreck fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wandoan's protests and gave Hans Kreck a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Wandoan's Hans Kreck got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Wandoan's goal looked a bit too open when Bath Devine came free, but Grant Gissane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dwight Wilson came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Wandoan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dwight Wilson couldn't finish the play. Darell Cookesley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mack Dollimore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Mccartan during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Wandoan got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Mccartan. Dwight Wilson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darell Cookesley in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mack Dollimore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wandoan's goalkeeper Grant Gissane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grant Gissane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barney Pustak's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.
Wandoan's Dwight Wilson got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barney Pustak struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Grant Gissane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bringo. Grant Gissane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bath Devine in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the Wandoan defense, Bath Devine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grant Gissane. The Wandoan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grant Gissane should have stopped the shot. Grant Gissane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bath Devine in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Barney Pustak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bringo's supporters rose to their feet, but Barney Pustak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grant Gissane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Wandoan's Tommy Mccartan got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Barney Pustak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bath Devine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barney Pustak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Grant Gissane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Broderick See kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Barney Pustak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Dwight Wilson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tommy Mccartan kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Bath Devine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Gissane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Wandoan players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bringo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
