Calvin Greenbank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quade Macumber, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Pata's goal looked a bit too open when Corder Lawrence came free, but Michael Rear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Rear came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Leeds United's Carman Haydock. But to his dismay, Carman Haydock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With his leg Michael Rear managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Leeds United's Carman Haydock fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Michael Rear made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carman Haydock in the 41st minute. Calvin Greenbank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quade Macumber in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Hale Kile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pata and the Leeds United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 52nd minute Pierre Haslett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Greenbank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Carman Haydock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Rear. Pata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carman Haydock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 59 minutes into the match, Leeds United's goalkeeper Calvin Greenbank had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quade Macumber. Calvin Greenbank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quade Macumber in the 61st minute of play. Pata's Michael Rear played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carman Haydock in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Pata booed when Leeds United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Bohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leeds United's Calvin Greenbank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Haslett in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Leeds United's Calvin Greenbank got control of the ball when Quade Macumber tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Corder Lawrence left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leeds United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quade Macumber got free with Calvin Greenbank in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corder Lawrence took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Rear. Michael Rear dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 92nd minute, Corder Lawrence left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leeds United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Leeds United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
