In the 21st minute of the match, Paco Mudie got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kane Lyle was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kane Lyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshall Mcmillan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Léopold Georget showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelvin Saisell in the 26th minute of the match. Bumbunga's Kane Lyle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Bumbunga from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paco Mudie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rex Gilding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kane Lyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bumbunga's Kane Lyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duffield Barugh in the 55th minute of play. Léopold Georget was a little too slow when Kelvin Saisell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 2-2. Kane Lyle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duffield Barugh went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Duffield Barugh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Crawford Tongs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Bumbunga's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Mudie came free, but Kane Lyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Bumbunga's Bray Riley got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Léopold Georget. Fort Kent FC's Léopold Georget played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Butterfield in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Butterfield in the 98th minute of play forced Fort Kent FC's goalkeeper Léopold Georget to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
