Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute Rick Mccormick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathaniel Worsley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Andy Cubitt came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Yanderra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Cubitt couldn't finish the play. Bryant Gillingwater fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Shirdon having to interfere. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherwood's goalkeeper Stan Shirdon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Edwardo Willison fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherwood's protests and gave Edwardo Willison a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Yanderra booed when Netherwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwardo Willison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bryan Hoskin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Stan Shirdon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryant Gillingwater in the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rick Mccormick in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nathaniel Worsley saved Yanderra from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Yanderra's zone, Rick Mccormick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathaniel Worsley came out of the goal and Rick Mccormick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andy Cubitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Coburn in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathaniel Worsley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rick Mccormick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Netherwood's Stan Shirdon got control of the ball when Andy Cubitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rick Mccormick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Netherwood's Nash Huntington couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Yanderra.

52 minutes into the game, Bryant Gillingwater cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Stan Shirdon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Cubitt in the 65th minute of play forced Netherwood's goalkeeper Stan Shirdon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Roy Coburn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roy Coburn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nathaniel Worsley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Mccormick in the 73rd minute of play. Roy Coburn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Rick Mccormick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathaniel Worsley was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Ernest Rishton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stan Shirdon. Netherwood's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stan Shirdon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryant Gillingwater, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Rick Mccormick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathaniel Worsley having to interfere. Bryant Gillingwater received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Stan Shirdon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nathaniel Worsley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Mccormick in the 93rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Rick Mccormick took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nathaniel Worsley to make any attempt to save it. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
