Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Damon Starling took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Humevale's Damon Starling slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stan Shirdon. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. In the 7th minute Damon Starling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Shirdon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrizio Riley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Stan Shirdon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Riley succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 14th playminute. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Fabrizio Riley sped through Netherwood's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stan Shirdon. With a little luck, Netherwood's Stan Shirdon got control of the ball when Fabrizio Riley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Payton Schulzte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rick Mccormick, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Stan Shirdon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Starling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Mccormick in the 26th minute of play forced Humevale's goalkeeper Payton Schulzte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Payton Schulzte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Mccormick in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Roy Coburn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Payton Schulzte. Humevale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roy Coburn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Stan Shirdon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damon Starling, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Damon Starling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes Netherwood got a freekick which was hit by Bath Lawson. 44 minutes into the game, Nash Huntington was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherwood's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Humevale the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Netherwood fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Stan Shirdon, was totally fooled by Humevale's Rodd Peplow, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

A collision led to Humevale getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Sam Vickery hit a great ball. Fabrizio Riley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stan Shirdon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrizio Riley's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. If Fabrizio Riley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Carmichael Buckland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Payton Schulzte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Coburn got free with Payton Schulzte in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Mccormick in the 79th minute of play forced Humevale's goalkeeper Payton Schulzte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stan Shirdon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damon Starling, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Humevale's zone, Rick Mccormick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Payton Schulzte came out of the goal and Rick Mccormick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 played minutes Humevale got a freekick which was hit by Rodd Peplow. Rick Mccormick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Payton Schulzte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roy Coburn in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Payton Schulzte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Humevale's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
