Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gooramadda's goalkeeper Bickford Phasey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jervis Algoud came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Walwa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jervis Algoud couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Jordon Turnor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bickford Phasey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walwa's Jervis Algoud got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Gooramadda getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Carleton Norton hit a great ball. Walwa's Jervis Algoud got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jordon Turnor made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Abe Ramsay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Walwa's Ren Kuskopf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bickford Phasey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordon Turnor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes of play, Walwa's Jordon Turnor made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bickford Phasey was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jordon Turnor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gooramadda getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Everett Smoothey hit a great ball. Ren Kuskopf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abe Ramsay in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Walwa's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Fasey came free, but Ren Kuskopf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Fasey struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ren Kuskopf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gooramadda. Abe Ramsay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ren Kuskopf having to interfere. When Gooramadda's Abe Ramsay in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walwa's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute, Abraham Perandis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jervis Algoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Jordon Turnor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Jordon Turnor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Walwa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gooramadda the free kick. Jordon Turnor kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Jordon Turnor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bickford Phasey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Walwa players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
