Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cifu Films F.C.'s Dalwood Petersen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barnes Pukalluss short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Alan Rennie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cifu Films F.C.'s Alan Rennie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Laycock in the 7th minute of play. Platts's Barnes Pukallus managed to work through Cifu Films F.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Barnes Pukallus dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 10th minute, Platts's Elliott Clinton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Barnes Pukallus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Alan Rennie made a huge save. In the 27th minute of the match Buck Odonahoo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dane Alcock skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Clinton in the 28th minute of play forced Cifu Films F.C.'s goalkeeper Alan Rennie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruce Laycock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Rennie having to interfere. Barnes Pukallus took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan Rennie. Alan Rennie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Dane Alcock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Stafford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Powley's late challenge caught a Platts's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Powley helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Cifu Films F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Peter Powley. If Bruce Laycock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 44 minutes into the match, Cifu Films F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Laycock came free, but Alan Rennie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruce Laycock made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Platts's Barnes Pukallus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alan Rennie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Peter Powley hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of Platts booed when Cifu Films F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Slattery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Platts's Bruce Laycock got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Mcmahon hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Laycock in the 65th minute of play forced Cifu Films F.C.'s goalkeeper Alan Rennie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Platts's Bruce Laycock in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 75th match minute, Cifu Films F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Slattery to maneuver through the defense. When Barnes Pukallus came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Platts fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnes Pukallus couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Tom Slattery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roger Stafford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarrod Deal kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Cifu Films F.C.'s Alan Rennie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnes Pukallus in the 97th minute of play. Platts walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
