With his leg Grant Allen managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Lavington's Dale Beins fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 18 minutes into the match, Yerranderie's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Sparrow came free, but Grant Allen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dale Beins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Damian Sparrow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grant Allen was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 24 played minutes Yerranderie got a freekick which was hit by Mack Pegrum. In the 24th minute Damian Sparrow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Allen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When %teams%'s Damian Sparrow was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 26 minutes into the game. Grant Allen was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Norman Pears kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Damian Sparrow fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Burt Devere stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damian Sparrow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steve Mcvey hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Damian Sparrow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Grant Allen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Damian Sparrow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grant Allen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Dale Beins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Allen having to interfere. Lavington walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
