The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rusty Kerville was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Bryan Ambrose was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maroochydore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Relaxmore FC the free kick. Bryan Ambrose kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rusty Kerville in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Vickery saved Maroochydore from getting behind. Bart Lonergan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Mcjenkins having to interfere. The Relaxmore FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Relaxmore FC's Everitt Bacon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 87th minute Rusty Kerville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Vickery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Rusty Kerville got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Relaxmore FC's Rusty Kerville got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Relaxmore FC were the better team. Relaxmore FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
