Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tony Shirdon kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Relaxmore FC's Crawford Waller seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Crawford Waller the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Relaxmore FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Crawford Waller had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Relaxmore FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kotara:s goal. Malcolm Mcquoid hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Fabian Borserio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Potter Schoenke's late challenge caught a Kotara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Potter Schoenke helped the player get up and apologised. Potter Schoenke hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Grant Gaines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Roland Mcjenkins made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Grant Gaines fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roland Mcjenkins, passed just outside the right post. Roland Mcjenkins was a little too slow when Tony Shirdon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-0. After 38 played minutes Kotara got a freekick which was hit by Dallas Staworowski. After having played for 40 minutes, Fabian Borserio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Relaxmore FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Borserio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Allen King sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Dallas Staworowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kotara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Relaxmore FC the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everitt Bacon in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brye Markou saved Kotara from getting behind.

The wind increased when Everitt Bacon made the kick off in the second half. If Everitt Bacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everitt Bacon in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brye Markou saved Kotara from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Kotara's goal looked a bit too open when Everitt Bacon came free, but Brye Markou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Everitt Bacon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Relaxmore FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everitt Bacon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brye Markou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Allen King received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Brye Markou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Grant Gaines had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Mcjenkins. Relaxmore FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grant Gaines was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Brye Markou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everitt Bacon, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Relaxmore FC's Everitt Bacon got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Relaxmore FC's Allen King got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grant Gaines in the 86th minute of play forced Relaxmore FC's goalkeeper Roland Mcjenkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brye Markou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malcolm Hollingworth in the 87th minute. Allen King scored 3-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brye Markou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kotara succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Relaxmore FC had controlled the match.
