When Phenix Cridland came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Korbel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phenix Cridland couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Korbel's goal looked a bit too open when 武竞坚 came free, but Brant Eastman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarrett Schoenke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Mulgowie got a freekick which was hit by Biddle Buckland. Phenix Cridland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Andre Price made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phenix Cridland got free with Andre Price in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, 武竞坚 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mulgowie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Korbel's Brant Eastman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 武竞坚 in the 26th minute of play. Nathaniel Howard took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brant Eastman. Brant Eastman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 34 minutes into the match, 武竞坚 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brant Eastman. Korbel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 武竞坚 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Sabastian Muller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Andre Price tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Mulgowie's Nathaniel Howard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brant Eastman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Phenix Cridland came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andre Price could save by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mulgowie's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
