Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ed Claringbold kicked off to start the match. Mingay's Phil Gavin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fitton in the 4th minute of play. Meyer Cave received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Browne Fynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Matt Rowden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Browne Fynn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Phil Gavin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benney Rosenboom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mingay's Phil Gavin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Mingay from getting a goal against them. Browne Fynn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matt Rowden went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Mingay's Jervis Sennett in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bajool's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mingay's goalkeeper Phil Gavin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Jervis Sennett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bajool's Ed Claringbold in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mingay's goalie prevented a goal. Browne Fynn came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Mingay's Matt Rowden. But to his dismay, Matt Rowden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Matt Rowden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duncan Oconnell kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Mingay getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jervis Sennett hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benney Rosenboom got free with Phil Gavin in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Bajool players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mingay were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matt Rowden to make the kick off. In the 60th minute, Neil Mcinnes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Mingay's goal looked a bit too open when Benney Rosenboom came free, but Phil Gavin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Meyer Cave left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mingay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Phil Gavin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fitton in the 72nd minute of the match. Browne Fynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matt Rowden, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Meyer Cave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meyer Cave could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Browne Fynn made a huge save. When Matt Rowden came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Mingay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matt Rowden couldn't finish the play. Rudolph Beale charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rudolph Beale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mingay booed when Bajool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolph Beale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meyer Cave sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rdth minute of the game Benney Rosenboom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mingay's Phil Gavin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Bajool booed when Mingay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jervis Sennett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phil Gavin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ed Claringbold in the 96th minute of the match. Mingay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
