Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Darin Stebbing took the kick off in the first half of the match. Art Cawthorne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darin Stebbing, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute Jake Annis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Navin Freeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Wangoom got a freekick which was hit by Stewart Mcmillan. After a defensive mix-up in Wangoom's zone, Ernest Schulze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Navin Freeman came out of the goal and Ernest Schulze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Navin Freeman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Paddle in the 11th minute of the match. If Lewis Paddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Albert Staggard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Ernest Schulze notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Wangoom's Navin Freeman. Navin Freeman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Annis in the 24th minute of play forced Wangoom's goalkeeper Navin Freeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darin Stebbing scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Art Cawthorne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wattening's Art Cawthorne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyd Fraser in the 31st minute of play. Jake Annis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lewis Paddle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Navin Freeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Staggard kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Lewis Paddle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Navin Freeman having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Ernest Schulze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Navin Freeman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Wangoom's Navin Freeman got control of the ball when Conner Chamberlain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lewis Paddle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Navin Freeman having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Darren Boots managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wattening's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darren Boots was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jake Annis to make the kick off. Jake Annis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Navin Freeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wattening's Ernest Schulze in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wangoom's goalie prevented a goal. If Jake Annis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wangoom's Navin Freeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Boots in the 57th minute of play. Darren Boots recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Navin Freeman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Goodbun in the 62nd minute of the match. Ernest Schulze might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Navin Freeman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernest Schulze ran back to his position shaking his head. If Darren Boots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darren Boots fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Navin Freeman having to interfere. The long shot by Brayden Fulton in the 70th minute really tested Art Cawthorne's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Ernest Schulze came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Wattening fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Schulze couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Lewis Paddle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wattening's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wangoom the free kick. Lewis Paddle hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Wattening's Darren Boots suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jeremy Mckinnes charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremy Mckinnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Jeremy Mckinnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stephan Hands took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Navin Freeman. Navin Freeman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Ernest Schulze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernest Schulze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Navin Freeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wattening had played much better football throughout.
