Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Potter Prinsep made the kick off which started today's match. Potter Prinsep recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaffery Wakefield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryanne Ceney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Bryanne Ceney took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jaffery Wakefield to make any attempt to save it. Douglas Bouer took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaffery Wakefield. Jaffery Wakefield dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Bryanne Ceney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, As Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Bryanne Ceney came free, but Jaffery Wakefield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Bouer got free with Jaffery Wakefield in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, As Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Bryanne Ceney came free, but Jaffery Wakefield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Moorland booed when As Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitchell Batterham didn't get a good kick on the ball. As Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Potter Prinsep was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After having played for 53 minutes, Douglas Bouer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moorland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Bouer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Douglas Bouer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Howard Adamson during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in As Roma's zone, Bryanne Ceney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaffery Wakefield came out of the goal and Bryanne Ceney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
