Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edward Zalunardo started the match with the kick off. Douglas Bouer might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrews Hart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas Bouer ran back to his position shaking his head. 5 minutes into the game, Moorland's Bryanne Ceney nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrews Hart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Bryanne Ceney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Oconnell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quincy Boneheyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Edward Zalunardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Quincy Boneheyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 15 in the game by Douglas Bouer from a close distance when the talented Andrews Hart managed to make a qualified save. Barberton's players were relieved. Jonty Lorenz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Moorland's Quincy Boneheyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Oconnell in the 20th minute of play. If Bryanne Ceney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes of play, Moorland's Douglas Bouer made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrews Hart was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Moorland booed when Barberton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Oconnell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Douglas Bouer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moorland's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Bouer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrews Hart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Douglas Bouer's late challenge caught a Barberton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Bouer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Moorland getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Douglas Bouer hit a great ball. The supporters of Barberton booed when Moorland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnabas Woods didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Bouers short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Andrews Hart to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ivan Oconnell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Quincy Boneheyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Barberton's Ivan Oconnell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quincy Boneheyo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Barberton's goalkeeper Andrews Hart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Bouer. 45 minutes into the game, one of Barberton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bryanne Ceney to make the kick off. Ivan Oconnells short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Quincy Boneheyo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 65 minutes of play Moorland's Douglas Bouer was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. With his leg Quincy Boneheyo managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Barberton's Ivan Oconnell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonty Lorenz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Quincy Boneheyo. That made the score 3-2 in the 71 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edward Zalunardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quincy Boneheyo was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Edward Zalunardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Edward Zalunardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quincy Boneheyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Moorland's goalkeeper Quincy Boneheyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Oconnell. Many of Barberton's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Barberton may have spent more time on the ball, but Moorland were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
