Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wollomombi's Kane Behla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Lewry in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Byrock's Marcus Lewry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kane Behla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nash Mealmaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley King, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nathaniel Skurrie during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Wollomombi got a freekick which was hit by Nathaniel Skurrie. Nash Mealmaker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley King in the 19th minute of the match. Payton Pegler might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kane Behla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Payton Pegler ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Byrock booed when Wollomombi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rick Flesfader didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Lewry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kane Behla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Byrock's Meyer Bunworth got a free kick in the 29th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Byrock reached it. Marcus Lewry succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 88th minute, Pete Garing fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nash Mealmaker made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Bradley King sent off a good shot on target. Wollomombi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
