Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcus Lewry took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Nelligen's Sam Maciver made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nash Mealmaker was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute Marcus Lewry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Trims saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sam Maciver struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Nash Mealmaker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nelligen. In the 12th minute, Meyer Bunworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Lord kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Stewart Maciver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Archie Trims made a huge save. Sam Maciver took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nash Mealmaker. Nash Mealmaker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 20th match minute, Byrock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Lord to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nelligen's goalkeeper Archie Trims, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcus Lewry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Trims having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Sam Maciver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Byrock's Nash Mealmaker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sam Maciver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nash Mealmaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Nelligen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Maciver to maneuver through the defense. Archie Trims was a little too slow when Marcus Lewry got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sam Maciver made the kick off in the second half. If Sam Maciver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Maciver who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Nash Mealmaker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Carver Saisell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the game, Nelligen's Carver Saisell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nash Mealmaker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Nash Mealmaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Maciver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sam Maciver came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Nelligen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam Maciver couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sam Maciver in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nash Mealmaker saved Byrock from getting behind. Carver Saisell took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nash Mealmaker. Nash Mealmaker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Byrock's Nash Mealmaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Maciver in the 85th minute of play. Nelligen's Archie Trims played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Lewry in the 86th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Olin Prince in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Byrock's Stewart Maciver. Archie Trims took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Payton Pegler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burt Rowdon hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Payton Pegler made a precise shot to the right of Archie Trims. Nelligen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. When the match was over Nelligen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Byrock throughout the match.
