Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sam Maciver made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience was convinced that Sam Maciver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobie Bailey was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antony Stafford during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Archie Trims stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrizio Bennett's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Carver Saisell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobie Bailey having to interfere. Sam Maciver got in the 10th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tobie Bailey handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 15th minute Everett Cookesley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Trims saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Dwellingup getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Everett Cookesley hit a great ball. Archie Trims came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Dwellingup's Burtt Laws. But to his dismay, Burtt Laws quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sam Maciver in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobie Bailey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Carver Saisell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everett Cookesley made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Nelligen's Carver Saisell got a free kick in the 51st minute. Tobie Bailey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Maciver in the 54th minute of play. Everett Cookesley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Archie Trims read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Sam Maciver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobie Bailey having to interfere. A collision led to Dwellingup getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sabastian Auger hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Sam Maciver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobie Bailey. Dwellingup's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sam Maciver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 72 minutes into the match, Sabastian Auger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Archie Trims. Murphy Moon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tobie Bailey. Dwellingup's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tobie Bailey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Maciver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Archie Trims made an important save on a dangerous shot by Burtt Laws in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Nelligen's goalkeeper Archie Trims had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Burtt Laws. Archie Trims showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everett Cookesley, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Sam Maciver came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Nelligen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam Maciver couldn't finish the play. Nelligen were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
