Spectators: 7691 (Terracing: 5787, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 130) An unexpectedly hard shot by Carver Saisell in the 3rd minute of play forced Wolves FC's goalkeeper Rudy Goucher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC's Ivan Death got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Archie Trims made an important save on a dangerous shot by Case Brien in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Case Brien was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolves FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nelligen the free kick. After 11 played minutes Wolves FC got a freekick which was hit by Case Brien. Kris Hayman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rudy Goucher having to make a save. The supporters of Wolves FC booed when Nelligen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carver Saisell didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Maciver in the 24th minute of play forced Wolves FC's goalkeeper Rudy Goucher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carver Saisell succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Olin Prince's late challenge caught a Wolves FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olin Prince helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Nelligen got a freekick which was hit by Olin Prince. If Carver Saisell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Maciver might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rudy Goucher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sam Maciver ran back to his position shaking his head. Rudy Goucher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Maciver in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC's Ivan Death got a free kick in the 49th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelius Tucknott made a kick off. After 56 minutes, Nicholas Reilly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wolves FC and the Nelligen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Nicholas Reilly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match, Sam Maciver tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rudy Goucher saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nicholas Reilly hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Sam Maciver got in the 77th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Rudy Goucher handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Carver Saisell fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 79 minutes, Sam Maciver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nelligen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam Maciver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carver Saisell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudy Goucher didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Sam Maciver received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rudy Goucher came out and tried to block the shot, but Sam Maciver slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 96th minute. When Carver Saisell came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Nelligen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carver Saisell couldn't finish the play.
