The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Dinyarrak getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Niles Tauschke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lawlers's attack was well implemented in the 11th minute, but when Dugald Kuch was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 13thth minute of the game Dugald Kuch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dinyarrak's Niles Tauschke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmundson Shorten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitchell Didlick, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Dugald Kuch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Dinyarrak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Wittber to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Tenser might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niles Tauschke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Tenser ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute Bruno Tenser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niles Tauschke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Cod Easther was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lawlers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinyarrak the free kick. In the 34th minute, Cod Easther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Lawlers's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Adamson came free, but Edmundson Shorten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dugald Kuch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niles Tauschke having to interfere. Ernest Adamson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bruno Tenser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niles Tauschke having to interfere. Niles Tauschke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Tenser, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Bruno Tenser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donovan Dollimore kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Dugald Kuch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lawlers's supporters rose to their feet, but Dugald Kuch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niles Tauschke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lawlers's Bruno Tenser in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dinyarrak's goalie prevented a goal. Niles Tauschke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dugald Kuch in the 76th minute of the match. Dugald Kuch scored 3-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niles Tauschke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute Dugald Kuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niles Tauschke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Dinyarrak's goal looked a bit too open when Dugald Kuch came free, but Niles Tauschke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
