Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paz Ritter started the match with the kick off. Clarke Weller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paz Ritter in the 7th minute of play. Clarke Weller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paz Ritter, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Chuck Crapp's late challenge caught a Karranadgin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chuck Crapp helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Karranadgin's zone, Keith Ryan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lowrey Tongs came out of the goal and Keith Ryan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Meyer Porteus hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Karranadgin's Nathan Mcneven couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sladevale. Sladevale's Chuck Crapp got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Chuck Crapp off the ground. Chuck Crapp kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Clarke Weller came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Karranadgin's Rex Lenard. But to his dismay, Rex Lenard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Karranadgin's Rex Lenard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clarke Weller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Karranadgin's zone, Meyer Porteus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lowrey Tongs came out of the goal and Meyer Porteus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 played minutes Karranadgin got a freekick which was hit by Paz Ritter. In the 39th match minute, Karranadgin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ellis Reisz to maneuver through the defense. Barnett Hayman hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Paz Ritter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sladevale's Clarke Weller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Meyer Porteus kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Bo Wayland scored 1-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lowrey Tongs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bo Wayland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clarke Weller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paz Ritter in the 54th minute of play. Sladevale's Clarke Weller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paz Ritter in the 63rd minute of play. Paz Ritter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karranadgin's Paz Ritter got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sladevale's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Paz Ritter scored to the left of an out of position Clarke Weller, making the score, 1-2. Karranadgin were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sladevale's much stronger midfield.
