Mitchell Didlick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nash Cassilly having to interfere. When Bruce Goodbun fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nambour's protests and gave Bruce Goodbun a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dinyarrak booed when Nambour was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Goodbun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurence Lewry in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niles Tauschke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Laurence Lewry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Nambour's Laurence Lewry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niles Tauschke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ernest Adamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurence Lewry in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niles Tauschke saved Dinyarrak from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Fraser got free with Niles Tauschke in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mark Wittber hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Mitchell Didlick notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Nambour's Nash Cassilly. Nash Cassilly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Fraser got free with Niles Tauschke in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Nambour booed when Dinyarrak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Bonham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurence Lewry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niles Tauschke having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Nambour walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
