Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Angus Shorten kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute Keith Ryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichol Lenard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angus Shorten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clarke Weller having to interfere. Meyer Porteus's late challenge caught a Montero United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Meyer Porteus helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Sladevale:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Montero United:s goal. Nichol Lenard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Wayland in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Wayland in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nichol Lenard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes of play, Sladevale's Meyer Porteus made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nichol Lenard was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute Bo Wayland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichol Lenard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Barnett Hayman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nichol Lenard skillfully saved the ball. Chuck Crapp took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nichol Lenard. Nichol Lenard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Wayland in the 40th minute of play forced Montero United's goalkeeper Nichol Lenard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Ace Moon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Keith Ryan made the kick off in the second half. Nichol Lenard was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Meyer Porteus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Meyer Porteus really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Montero United's Nichol Lenard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Montero United from getting a goal against them. Bo Wayland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Robert Locke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Keith Ryan rounded Montero United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. In the 76th minute, Bray Connell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ace Moon during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Montero United's Ace Moon got a free kick in the 79th minute. Nichol Lenard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith Ryan in the 83rd minute of play. Robert Locke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clarke Weller having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sladevale had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
