The supporters of Clevedon booed when Eatonsville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Byrne Kurth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bremen Obree hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hank Pegler in the 9th minute of play forced Eatonsville's goalkeeper Bryant Rose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Clevedon's goal looked a bit too open when Niles Howie came free, but Benson Hunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benson Hunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niles Howie in the 15th minute of play. Bremen Obree's late challenge caught a Clevedon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bremen Obree helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Eatonsville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bremen Obree to maneuver through the defense. After 20 minutes, Andy Watman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eatonsville and the Clevedon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Andy Watman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clevedon's Hank Pegler got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dale Hanlen in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bryant Rose, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Dale Hanlen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hank Mcgrath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Hank Pegler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clevedon's supporters rose to their feet, but Hank Pegler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryant Rose breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andy Watman hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hank Pegler in the 35th minute of play forced Eatonsville's goalkeeper Bryant Rose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Boyde Leyden sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benson Hunter skillfully saved the ball. If Niles Howie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benson Hunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niles Howie in the 41st minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hank Mcgrath was the one to do the kick off. Bryant Rose came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Clevedon's Phenix Gissane. But to his dismay, Phenix Gissane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dale Hanlen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryant Rose having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Eatonsville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Watman to maneuver through the defense. Andy Watman hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Clevedon's Cornelius Keam got a free kick in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boyde Leyden during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Eatonsville fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Clevedon. Herman Triplett stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bryant Rose. 2-1. In the 75th minute Hank Mcgrath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benson Hunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Eatonsville's Hank Mcgrath slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benson Hunter. That made the score 2-2 after 77 minutes of play. 79 minutes into the game, Dale Hanlen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Bryant Rose was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bryant Rose showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Hanlen, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Hank Pegler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Bryant Rose was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
