Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ben Brennan started the match with the kick off. Ben Brennan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, Roger Grandison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bock Bunworth was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 9 played minutes Yoongarilup got a freekick which was hit by Bradshaw Haydock. 15 minutes into the match, Boris Mcgrath dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bock Bunworth, 2-0. Roger Grandison's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Bock Bunworth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Bakara's Edison Orvad got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Ben Brennan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yoongarilup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Brennan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Yoongarilup's Bradshaw Haydock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corder Fasey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 28th minute Boris Mcgrath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bock Bunworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Bakara's goal looked a bit too open when Bradshaw Haydock came free, but Corder Fasey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corder Fasey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Brennan, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boris Mcgrath in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bock Bunworth saved Yoongarilup from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Bakara's goal looked a bit too open when Bradshaw Haydock came free, but Corder Fasey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bradshaw Haydock came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Yoongarilup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bradshaw Haydock couldn't finish the play. After 41 minutes, Bruno Phasey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yoongarilup and the Bakara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ben Brennan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corder Fasey having to interfere. After 48 minutes of play Yoongarilup's Bruno Phasey was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 49th match minute, Yoongarilup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Phasey to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boris Mcgrath to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Bakara's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Brennan came free, but Corder Fasey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bradshaw Haydock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Long Gwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Grandison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bock Bunworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bock Bunworth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Mcgrath's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Roger Grandison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Grandison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Grandison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Oreilly during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 83 minutes into the match, Bakara's Matthews Schulze broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Bakara getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Payne Harding hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Bakara's Long Gwin got a free kick in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Mcgrath during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Boris Mcgrath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bock Bunworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Mcgrath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Bakara's Roger Grandison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yoongarilup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bakara the free kick. Ben Brennan hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Yoongarilup's Bock Bunworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Mcgrath in the 99th minute of play.
