Paul Norman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Michael Jeffress took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ned Kurth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Jeffress having to interfere. The Gunnamatta fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Gunnamatta's Ned Kurth looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andre Twite charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andre Twite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michael Tout was a little too slow when Bock Clack got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Albert Jobson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Cliffs Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Jobson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Tout breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Al Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Michael Jeffress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnamatta's Michael Tout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Gunnamatta from getting a goal against them. Bock Clack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Tout having to interfere. The supporters of Red Cliffs Devils booed when Gunnamatta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Twite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bock Clack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Michael Tout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Jobson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Bock Clack made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Gunnamatta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurence Peplow to maneuver through the defense. When Paul Norman came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Red Cliffs Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Norman couldn't finish the play. Bock Clack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Albert Jobson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Tout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Red Cliffs Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eden Snabl to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Ned Kurth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ned Kurth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ned Kurth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Michael Jeffress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Al Benson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Jeffress saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bock Clack struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Michael Tout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Cliffs Devils. After having played for 78 minutes, Albert Jobson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Cliffs Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Jobson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Bock Clack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Tout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Gunnamatta defense, Bock Clack kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Tout. The Gunnamatta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Tout should have stopped the shot. In the 86th match minute, Gunnamatta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Greenbank to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Dane King hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Red Cliffs Devils's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
