Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boyd Flisfeder made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Norwood getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Nathaniel Woods hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Eddington's Downing Mapps got a free kick in the 8th minute. John Colman might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Tarrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Colman ran back to his position shaking his head. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Boris Ogle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Murdock Heathwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyd Flisfeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Rolando Tarrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Ogle in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Norwood booed when Eddington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Whitsitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Charles Hinwood sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Eddington's Rolando Tarrant didn't even have to move. Norwood's Boris Ogle got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Norwood's Murphy Beins got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Boyd Flisfeder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norwood's Murdock Heathwood was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eddington's Rolando Tarrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Ogle in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Eddington's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Ogle came free, but Rolando Tarrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Whitsitt during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Paul Whitsitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boris Ogle in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Tarrant saved Eddington from getting behind. Rolando Tarrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Colman, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Norwood's Murdock Heathwood got control of the ball when Humphry Hunter tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boris Ogle was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Tarrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Ogle in the 52nd minute of the match. Eddington's Boyd Flisfeder got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murdock Heathwood stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boyd Flisfeder's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Charles Hinwood fired a really elegant long shot, but Rolando Tarrant threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. If Boyd Flisfeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Boris Ogle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norwood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Ogle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Bryan Callaghan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boyd Flisfeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Murdock Heathwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Tarrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Ogle, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Norwood's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Lorenz came free, but Murdock Heathwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Tarrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Colman in the 87th minute. Boris Ogle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Colman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Rolando Tarrant made a huge save. Boris Ogle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Rolando Tarrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Norwood players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
