Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeremy Mueller kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Jack Chant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winning 11's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norwood the free kick. The supporters of Norwood booed when Winning 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Chant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boris Ogle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murdock Heathwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irwin Hodson in the 5th minute of the match. Irwin Hodson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Norwood's John Colman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a defensive mix-up in Winning 11's zone, John Colman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Craig Mcinnes came out of the goal and John Colman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremy Mueller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Norwood fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! John Colman came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Craig Mcinnes could save by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boris Ogle to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Winning 11's Irwin Hodson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murdock Heathwood narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy Mueller in the 58th minute of play forced Norwood's goalkeeper Murdock Heathwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Boris Ogle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Craig Mcinnes was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After 60 minutes of play Winning 11's Jack Chant was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Winning 11's Jack Chant got a free kick in the 60th minute. A collision led to Winning 11 getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ellis Rhodes hit a great ball. John Colman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Craig Mcinnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
